📖 This Week's Story

After Jesus went to heaven and the Holy Spirit came, the Apostles traveled everywhere to spread the good news. And guess where some of them went? GREECE! The Apostle Paul traveled to Thessaloniki, Corinth, Athens, and many other Greek cities. He wrote letters to these communities — letters that are now in our Bible! In Athens, Paul stood on a hill called the Areopagus and taught the people about God. That means the Greek Orthodox Church has roots going all the way back to the Apostles themselves! When we go to church, we are part of a chain that stretches back 2,000 years.
