St. Kosmas Aitolos was a monk who loved to teach. He traveled all across Greece, walking from village to village, teaching people to read, write, and learn about their faith. He opened over 200 schools! He believed that education was the key to keeping the Greek language and Orthodox faith alive. He reminds us that learning and sharing knowledge is a way to serve God and our community.
