📖 This Week's Story

During Lent, we focus on three things: prayer, fasting, and GIVING. In Greek, giving to others is called "eleimosini" — charity. Jesus once watched people putting money in the collection box. Rich people gave large amounts. But then a poor widow came and dropped in just two tiny coins. Jesus said: "She gave more than anyone! Because she gave everything she had." You don't need money to give! You can give your time — play with someone who's alone. You can give your words — say something encouraging. You can give your actions — help at home without being asked. Every act of kindness is a gift to God.
